Record Rental Figures for August / September
October 17th, 2011

Good news for landlords. It seems that the rental market is holding up in terms of activity. In August and September Tower managed to rent 130 properties for its landlords, which is up about 10% from last year, and approximately 50% from 2009.

Tower's lettings manager Richard Vigh says the success is due to a number of factors. "What we have is a combination of well located properties from our landlords along with our own exhaustive use of all the marketing channels at our disposal. The properties are also nicely cleaned and presented." He also states that international tenants seem to prefer renting through a management firm. "It gives international tenants extra peace of mind. Many of these people are students, and for many this is not only their first time living in another country but also their first time away from home. It helps them to know that there is someone there who speaks their language to handle maintenance etc."

Outside of these busy months Tower continues to maintain rentals at approximately 40+ new properties rented every month. In October alone the firm rented 53 properties. If your property is currently vacant it may be down to a number of factors, a location issue, particularly high condominium costs, in need of refreshing to some degree or pricing. We believe that all apartments can be rented. At Tower we do what we can to ensure that our occupancy level stays above 90% and as close to 100% if possible. Should you have any specific questions about your apartment please do not hesitate to contact us.
